The Windmill

The Windmill Public House was built in 1847 as a direct result of the large numbers of (thirsty!) migrant workers arriving in the area with the expansion of the Cement industry.

Mike and Julie, the present Landlord and Landlady, have worked hard during their first year of residency to create a modern, warm, friendly establishment.  Improvements they have introduced include a new Mediterranean-style Beer Garden and large screen TV in addition to new furniture and decor in both bars.  Check out their website at http://thewindmill.in4.org.uk/index.html
